The WNBA has officially tipped off its landmark 25th season , and we couldn ’ t be more thrilled to watch Connecticut Sun take on Atlanta Dream at the Mohegan Sun Arena on Friday , July 9th .

Following the pulse-pounding action of the July 9th game , the league will take a temporary break to accommodate the Tokyo Olympic Games from July 15th through August 11th .

The Connecticut Sun , who have qualified for the WNBA Playoffs in 12 of its 18 years in CT , will return to the court in August with FIVE home games on the schedule .
