AMERICAN WHISKEY
There are tons of varieties of American
whiskey but the two types you likely hear
about most are bourbon and Tennessee
whiskey. They are almost identical except
that Tennessee whiskey goes through a
process called “charcoal mellowing,”
which gives it a smoother flavor.
Jack Daniels is the most popular brand
of Tennessee whiskey.

Canadian whisky is often referred to as
“rye whisky,” mainly due to Canada’s long
history of distilling rye mash. Though rye
once made up the majority of whisky mash,
corn is now more common. Crown Royal
is perhaps the best-selling brand of
Canadian whisky in the U.S. Fireball
is another popular brand beloved for
its spicy cinnamon kick.
