Festive Ginger Snap

Mulled Wine

WHAT YOU ’ LL NEED
� 2 ounces of pear vodka � 1 ounce of amaretto liqueur � 2 slices of fresh ginger � 1 teaspoon of agave syrup � 1 pinch of ground cinnamon � 1 pinch of grated nutmeg � 1 pinch of ground cloves � 1 crushed gingerbread cookie � 1 cinnamon stick � Ice
Made with a wintry mix of spices and flavors , this seasonal cocktail is always a crowd pleaser .
DIRECTIONS
1 . Place ginger slices , spices and agave syrup into a cocktail shaker and muddle well .
2 . Fill shaker with ice and add amaretto liqueur and pear vodka .
3 . Shake vigorously to blend and strain liquid into a chilled cocktail glass .
4 . Garnish with cinnamon stick and coat the top of your beverage with a sprinkle of the crushed gingerbread cookie .

( or a preferred red wine ) – 750 ML � 4 cups of apple cider � 1 juiced and zested orange � ¼ cup of honey � 4 cloves ( whole ) � 3 star anise � 2 cinnamon sticks � 4 peeled oranges for the garnish
DIRECTIONS
1 . In a large saucepan , combine wine , cider , zested orange , honey , juice , cinnamon sticks , star anise and cloves .
2 . Bring ingredients to a steady boil before simmering for 10 minutes over low heat . 3 . Transfer the succulent drink into a mug . 4 . Garnish with an orange peel and enjoy !
